Standing at 5'5" and weighing around 80kgs (175 lbs) Ricky Perez may not be the tallest of men but what he lacks in height, he makes up in abundance with his physique. Indeed, he has a physique to marvel at, besides being one of the most charming and sincere friends I have had the bounty of having. Ricky is both a Bodybuilder and Physique Model, winning the "Mr Fitness" Title in 2001 - whilst having a whole section in the August 2001 edition of Exercise For Men Only, dedicated to him.

Another reason for admiring Ricky, is because he is a natural bodybuilder. How refreshing to know someone who made his name in bodybuilding without cheating or using drugs these days.

A Truly Magical Moment

On 29th May, 2004, I had the bounty and great joy to meet Ricky and Lana at London Airport as they got off the plane after a grueling and exhausting flight from Miami, via New York. As they had few hours to wait between flights, we arranged for me to travel from Wales to meet them at Heathrow. Ricky and I have been friends since 1999 and thought we had kept in touch by emails, instant chatting and telephone, this was our first meeting. So, you can imagine the excitement I felt in meeting both Ricky and Lana at long last. What an honour it was to meet such greatly valued friends, indeed, it was a moment of utter magic. We spend several hours together and for me, what greater joy can there be to meet friends one both admires and hold in such high esteem as I do for Ricky and Lana. Believe me, they are everything and more, than I knew them to be. Two great people. Thanks guys for a wonderful memorable day.
