~When I boutht my house, in January 1998, it comprised of two small rooms down stairs and an open plan kitchen. The back of the house faces south and gets sun all day, and the garden is a great sun trap. This means that the small loung to the front of the house has a window facing north and look out on the main road into Swansea. As I found the loung too small and somewhat depressingly dark I decided to knock the two rooms into one and remove the fireplace that was set in the corner at a 45% angle. A laminated floor was laid to get rid of the carpets and painted the wall in Midday Sun, a bright warm Yellow and Terracotta, as a contrast. Unfortunately, the colours do not look true in the pics, but the first pic showing the first room is nearest the true colours, not the orange shade.
As you look at each set I have taken the pics as near to the same angle in each of the pics.
